To guide you through the application process we have developed these application directions. Below are  a list of application materials and requirements needed to complete your application:

  • Online Application for Graduate Admission
  • One (1) official transcript from each college/university where at least 1 credit has been earned, mailed directly to DU
  • Graduate Record Exam (GRE) or MAT (Miller Analogies Test) official score report (taken within the last five years)
  • 2 Letters of Recommendation (uploaded online by recommender)
  • Statement of Professional Goals
  • Current Vita/Resume
  • $65 Application Fee (payable through the online application by credit card; for other payment options, contact Graduate Studies at 303-871-2706 or gradinfo@du.edu)
  • Official TOEFL or IELTS score (international/non-native English speakers only)

Who should I contact about my application?

  • The Office of Graduate Studies handles all online applications (303-871-2706 or gradinfo@du.edu). Once your application is complete, it will be forwarded to the Morgridge Office of Admissions (303-871-2509 or edinfo@du.edu).

When will I hear about the status of my application?

  • If you submitted your application before the application deadline, your application will be reviewed directly following the deadline. You should expect to receive a response a few weeks after the application deadline.
  • If you submitted your application after the deadline, your application will be reviewed on a space-available basis and is dependent upon how many additional applications we receive during that time. You should expect to receive a response a few weeks after your application is complete.

Does the College of Education offer a conditional admission for International students/non-native English speakers?

Will you accept applications after the application deadline?

  • Depending on the program, we will continue to accept applications on a space-available basis.
