Morgridge College of Education (MCE) supports the learning community across the University of Denver campus through research and outreach. From educational facilities for early learning and the gifted and talented to in-house counseling clinics, MCE students and faculty are InContext with real-world applications and developments in their field of study.
Located on the DU campus, the Fisher Early Learning Center and the Ricks Center for Gifted Children are private schools for the Denver community; each is affiliated with Morgridge College of Education and our best education practices.
The Counseling and Educational Services Clinic is an in-house learning clinic that serves the Denver community while providing guided research and learning experiences for MCE students.
TheInstitute for the Development of Gifted Education, the Kennedy Institute for Educational Success, and theMarsico Institute for Early Learning and Literacyare all a part of Morgridge College and our mission of research and outreach.
The shared vision of a private university dedicated to the public good is prominent across the University of Denver campus. MCE is dedicated to Inclusive Excellence and is closely tied to the Center for Multicultural Excellence to create an open and diverse learning experience. To carry out our commitment to community outreach, the campus-wide Center for Community Engagement and Service helps connect DU students, faculty or staff to community organizations and public work.
Building and Campus Outreach
Each year, Ruffatto Hall hosts a variety of events for the community and MCE partners, including the Signature Series presentations, an annual Share Fair. Rooms and space in Ruffatto Hall can be reserved by students, faculty and staff. Community organizations can also reserve a room at a nominal cost.
