Student Organizations

Making connections with your peers is an essential part of student life at Morgridge College of Education. With a variety of student-led organizations, Morgridge College of Education offers many opportunities to get involved. Don't see a group and want help starting one? Reach out to your Department Chair or contact Dr. Marc Guerrero, MCE Associate Dean of Academic and Student Affairs.

College of Education Student Association (COESA)

COESA represents students in all policy-making activities affecting student interests. They provide students studying at Morgridge an opportunity to engage in collegial and social relationships with faculty, peers and experts in the field through encouraging and promoting professional, intellectual and social interaction between students, faculty and staff.

Queer & Straight Student Alliance (QSSA)

QSSA is a student organization within the Morgridge College of Education working to provide a place of support, exploration and education for and about the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and Queer (LGBTIQ) communities within the college. They also provide a space for allies of the LGBTIQ communities to support their colleagues.
