07may1:00 pm3:00 pmCommunity Forum: Natural Disasters in Chile and Nepal

Event Details

In times of crisis and distress, the Denver community must find ways to support one another and remain strong. Amid recent natural disasters in Chile and Nepal as well as racial tensions in Baltimore, its important that we use our community as a means of support and progress.

In an effort to spark a discussion and promote the ideals of inclusive excellence, the Student Life Office, in collaboration with several other departments and student organizations will be holding a community forum.

Please keep in mind that all students, faculty and staff are entitled to a number of free counseling sessions each year. You can learn more and schedule an appointment at the Health & Counseling Center. Additionally, faculty and staff members in so many departments across campus are also eager to support students and one other.

Sponsoring Departments/Organizations: The Office of the Chancellor; The Division of Student Life, The Center for Multicultural Excellence, The Health & Counseling Center, The Undergraduate Student Government, The Graduate Student Government, DU Programming Board, and The Black Student Alliance
