Dr. Eduardo Bonilla-Silvais the Chair and Professor of the Sociology department at Duke University. Bonilla-Silva is one of the foremost scholars on race today. His critically acclaimed work has provided fresh theoretical approaches in challenging how racial matters are analyzed and talked about or ignored at the personal and institutional level. Bonilla-Silva is perhaps best known for his prize-winning book, Racism Without Racists: Color-Blind Racism and the Persistence of Racial Inequality in the United States.Recently, he has turned his scholarly attention towards assessing the diversity challenge for historically White colleges and universities.
