Event Details

We are excited to invite you, other school/district leaders, and aspiring leaders to learn more about the DU Impact at a presentation by several of our students hosted by the Morgridge College of Education.

Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served during a social time from 5:00-5:30p.m. Rana Razzaque, current EdD student, will then share an IGNITE! Presentation on her research entitled, “Demanding Inclusivity: A Galvanizing Exploration of Strategies to Cultivate Inclusive Schools.”

Next, graduates from our programs Justina Carney, principal of McElwain Elementary World School in Adams 12 Five Star School District, Allen Smith, Executive Director of School Turnaround in Denver Public Schools, and Lisa Sprague, principal of Grandview High School in Cherry Creek Schools, will speak on a panel about how the ELPS program impacted them as leaders.

At 6:30pm, attendees will receive information about each of our program and degree options in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies (Certificate, MA, Ed.D. and Ph.D.) and engage in conversations with program faculty, graduates, and current students. We are very proud of the transformative work that our students and graduates are leading, and we want to share the opportunities our programs offer.

We would be honored to support your efforts to enhance your leadership development efforts, and we hope to see you and others from your organization at the Impact session.
