Recapture your passion for teaching (and learn why it’s okay for your fire to ebb and flow) in this three-evening workshop with Dr. Paul Michalec, Clinical Professor in Teaching and Learning Sciences at the University of Denver, Morgridge College of Education.

The workshop will take place in three sessions during three days:

May 5, 2016; 4-6pm
May 12, 2016; 4-6pm
May 19, 2016; 4-6pm

Price: $200 (may receive 6.0 Professional Contact Hours for Educator

Learning Objectives:
1. Developing an understanding of the causes and effects of teacher burnout.
2. Reconnecting with the inner-fire to teach, a passion to teach that can sustain a teacher through the difficult moments that are characteristic of teaching; and
3. Acquiring concrete skills for inviting colleagues, through a professional learning community, to engage in meaningful and sustaining conversation about the drive to teach and to make a difference in the lives of all learners.

This course is being offered for 6.0 Professional Contact Hours for Educators through the University of Denver. The Center for Professional Development maintains responsibility for this content.
