The Morgridge College of Education (MCE), home of the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies Program (ELPS), has been ranked one of the Top 20 schools for Educational Administration and Supervision. The list, created by US News & World Report, features graduate schools with programs geared toward educators who want to develop and improve their skills and serve as leaders within the field of education.
Educational Leadership and Policy Studies
The ELPS Program offers Certificates as well as MA, Ed.D, and Ph.D degrees for students interested in being a force for positive change through educational leadership, policy, and research. The program immerses students in an intensive curriculum of integrated academic and field-based experiences. ELPS graduates go on to serve in leadership positions in schools (public, private, and charter), school districts, state departments of education, government and non-profit organizations, and higher education.
The program, recognized locally and nationally as a leader in the field, infuses turnaround leadership* into all of its degree programs. Turnaround leadership is a cornerstone of the ELPS program, and its alumni are challenging the status quo by empowering students, teachers, parents, and communities to create an effective and inclusive learning environment that promotes the success of all students. Several cohorts in the ELPS program are still accepting applications. To find out more visit the ELPS program page.
