Director’s Welcome

Welcome to Fisher Early Learning Center!

Hello and thank you for your interest in the Fisher Early Learning Center website! Whether you are a current or prospective family, we hope that you find our website to be an informative and helpful resource for your needs. At the Fisher Early Learning Center, you will find a unique blend of high-quality childcare combined with an innovative curriculum that engages and challenges children from infancy through preschool. As our name implies, we believe that the opportunity for learning is an essential component of the early childhood experience, and thus a priority in the programming we offer to children and families.

Our partnership with faculty from the Morgridge College of Education at the University of Denver provides us with leadership and guidance as we continually assess and develop our Center based on the most relevant research in the field of early childhood education. The professional development of our teachers and service providers is an integral part of our program. We are fortunate to have knowledgeable teachers who show a commitment to their field and a supportive administration that provides a structure for teachers to learn and grow in their profession.

As an inclusive center, we take pride in welcoming children of all abilities and from various backgrounds into a loving learning environment where their specific needs are met. By providing diverse and authentic interactions and experiences through a purposeful curriculum, our teachers and staff demonstrate a commitment to establishing a meaningful and nurturing environment in which every child in our care can flourish.

Fisher is also accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). This accreditation ensures that your child will receive an early childhood education within a safe and nurturing environment that values diversity and supports the child's individual needs. In addition, Fisher's adherence to the NAEYC program standards guarantees you will find professional, qualified teachers at Fisher who use effective teaching approaches and are committed to ongoing professional development in order to implement a curriculum that considers the whole child and his/her family.

The Fisher Early Learning Center is a special place where children and families feel understood and respected as individuals. We genuinely value the opportunity to collaborate with our families in order to establish a sense of community within each classroom, as well as across the entire Center.

We have tried to put as much pertinent information on this site as possible, but recognize that your specific inquiries and interests may not be addressed through our website. Please feel free to contact us directly via phone, email or in person.
