Director’s Welcome
Welcome to Fisher Early Learning Center!
I am honored to lead our mission of providing a rich and inclusive learning environment for all children. Our dedication to celebrating diversity and addressing each child's unique needs is at the heart of our approach. We believe that every child deserves a continuum of learning experiences that fosters growth, creativity, and resilience.
At Fisher, we cultivate a creative and nurturing environment where children from infants to PreK can play, explore, and thrive. Our innovative approach to early childhood education, grounded in research-based practices, is supported by our exceptional team. Collectively, our teachers and staff bring over 400 years of experience in early childhood education, with an average of 11 years per staff member. Impressively, 90% of our staff hold at least one bachelor’s degree, 44% have at least one Master’s Degree, 41% are currently enrolled in courses toward furthering their education, and 6% have earned a PhD, EdD, or EdS. We are proud to showcase diversity within our staff; being able to not only speak English but also other languages including French, Spanish, Marathi, Hindi, Norwegian, Telugu, Japanese, Farsi, Igbo, Yoruba, Tagalog, and American Sign Language!
Through strong partnerships with our families, the Morgridge College of Education, and our DU community, we strive to be a model of high-quality care and education. Together, we aim to create an optimal learning environment where every child can reach their full potential.
If you are a prospective family or educator eager to learn more about the opportunities available at Fisher, I invite you to reach out. We would be delighted to share how you can be part of our vibrant community and the enriching experiences we offer.
I look forward to working alongside you to cultivate an engaging and supportive experience for our children.
Thank you for being a part of the Fisher family!
