  • Requirements for International Applicants

    Certificate & MA

Because this program can only guarantee licensure in Colorado, we are not able to accept international applicants.

    EdD & PhD

International applicants who do not hold a degree from an institution where English was the primary language of instruction will need to provide proof of English proficiency via a minimum score on one of the following tests:

    • TOEFL Score: 80 (iBT) or 550 (paper-based)
    • IELTS Score: 6.5
    • CAE Score: 169

We strongly encourage you to submit all application materials at least 14 business days before the deadline to allow our Office of International Admission enough time to process your application. If admitted, you will need to submit additional documents to complete the internationalization process and receive your visa.
