I coordinate the Research Center in the Anderson Academic Commons and library instruction for first year writing at DU. I also serve as the librarian for the Morgridge College of Education and Writing Program .

Professional Biography

I graduated with my Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Kentucky. Shortly after graduation, I began work as the Business & Economics Librarian at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. While at Auburn, my professional interests shifted from business reference to library instruction and I soon took on a new role as a Reference & Instruction Librarian, serving as a member of the library's instruction team with responsibilities for teaching and supporting the professional development of librarians' teaching practices. In this role, I also had the privilege of hiring and training the graduate students who worked at our library's reference desk.

After five years at Auburn, in 2017 I accepted the position of Coordinator of Library Instruction and Reference Services position at the University of Denver.
