Hosna Khorsamdi

I am Hosna Khorsandi from Iran. I am so excited that I am joining ELPS for doctoral studies. I am a Professional Educator and Assistant Principal who delivers the material with a touch of comedy, music, and digital media to keep students involved and learning.

I am looking for a way to make learning enjoyable and my goal is to create an educational environment equal to using the latest technologies in the world for all students.

At this time I am going to tell the world that I am a member of this new and amazing group of doctoral students [at the University of Denver]. From now on DU is my whole life.

Rachel Riley serves as the Assistant Director of Admissions for the Morgridge College of Education, helping to oversee and support the application and enrollment processes for several departments, working closely with prospective and admitted students, and managing the communication plans for the admissions team. Since beginning at Morgridge in January 2017, Rachel has represented MCE on the University of Denver’s Staff Advisory Council, presented at the 2019 AccessLex Institute annual conference, and completed her Master of Arts in Higher Education. The opportunity to meaningfully engage with prospective students and make an impact on their lives, however large or small, is what drives Rachel to continue striving for more equitable and inclusive admissions practices and policies – Morgridge allows her the space to do so because the MCE community doesn’t settle for the status quo.
