The Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education (CLDE) Certificate program is for students with an undergraduate degree who want to develop research-based curricula and instructional practices focused on culturally responsive pedagogy and the cultural, language, cognitive, and academic needs of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Learners in communities and classroom practices. Upon completion of the certificate, you'll be eligible to apply for a CLDE endorsement from the Colorado Department of Education, but you must have an initial teaching license from the Colorado Department of Education. This certificate can be combined with the Curriculum and Instruction Master, EdD, and PhD programs or may be a stand-alone certificate.
